The Plot: The book starts with "A Gathering" which is a discussion among group of people who are former classmates.

They come to meet at a reunion and they start discussing about their problems when they start to talk about the changes in their lives.

Then one of them narrates the cheese story of two mice and two little people. Two of them were mice named Sniff and Scurvy and other two were little people named Haw and Hem.

But they were not surprised as they were aware of the situation and so they moved on in search of cheese into the maze.

Some people have said they hated it and it was useless. It turns out that the original story was really short, but it was so popular that people started adding more details to it. has four characters: Two are mice named Sniff and Scurry. Eventually, Haw gets smart and decides to explore the maze for more cheese.
