Paris, the capital city of France is often known as the city of romance and is a city steeped in art and culture.Like many of its neighbouring European cities, Paris is full of beautiful architecture and museums showcasing fine art from some of the world’s most respected artists.Three of the most famous Parisian landmarks are the 12th-century cathedral Notre Dame de Paris, the Napoleonic Arc de Triomphe and the 19th-century Eiffel Tower.
Well, it is simply because I have always dreamt to go to Paris ever since I was five.
I was inspired by some of the movies I used to watch when I was little.
"La Marseillaise" or the Song of Marseille is the national anthem of France.
We both love to travel, see new sites, and explore.
We used Airbnbs, and I have lots of tips of how to make the most of a rental apartment kitchen here. I think most of my days would be spent on the beach!
The island’s largest industry is tourism, so you’re not going to find many undiscovered, hidden beaches there. Personally, I’d rather have a really polite poolboy adjusting my umbrella hourly so the sun doesn’t scorch me.
And a beautiful, sarong-clad waitress asking me if I’d like another delicious Mai Tai with an orchid garnish. I took one in Thailand and it was one of my favorite parts of the trip. My favorite way to experience a country’s food is through night markets, street food vendors and festivals.
But I wouldn’t want to spend every day on the white sand beaches, gazing over clear blue waters (wait…why not? Bali is surrounded by coral reefs, so I’d definitely go snorkeling or scuba diving. There are beautiful rock carvings on a tropical jungle mountain. I would be sure to try lots of different kinds of satay (grilled skewered meat with peanut sauce), lumpia (fried spring rolls), nasi goring (fried rice) and mie goring (fried noodles).
