But there cannot be any doubt that the pleasure of reading is the best.

It is a source of knowledge as well as entertainment.

Good magazines, newspapers and other books provide us with valuable upto-date information.

It gives us great pleasure to feel that our knowledge is upto-date.

The reading of good books develops and elevates our character. A man cannot remain in roach with the changes in his own country, or in the world, without reading the latest literature.

One who wants to be respected in cultured society must keep himself well-informed.

But once this art is learnt, there is no end to the satisfaction and deep contentment which we can derive from this art. Sober and intellectual people prefer reading history books, philosophical treatises or books of serious nature.

Milton has rightly said: “A good books is the precious life-blood of a master-spirit, embalmed and treasured up on purpose for a life beyond.”Reading gives unique pleasure. To an emotional reader, books of drama, poetry, travel, fiction and essays give great delight.
